Spike Renewables has designed and built a test rig to verify the influence of superficial treatments on heat exchange in evaporative phase with geothermal brine.
The design and construction of the Test Rig WP4 is part of GeoHex project funded by CE trough the H2020 program.
The system is designed to test an evaporative heat exchanger in order to assess the influence and effectiveness of particular surface treatments on heat exchange. For this purpose, the test rig has been equipped with the appropriate adjustment, measurement and control instrumentation and will be used to carry out numerous testing campaigns to vary exchange materials and surface treatments.
